Slowly, life was breathed into a form that lay at the bottom of a lake, crystal-clear water barely hiding her form from those looking down. Unfocused light brown eyes opened, a hint of recognition in her gaze that she couldn't breathe underwater. But why was she down there? Pushing herself up, her form weak and Turk's suit stiff from quite a few years of lack of movement, she kicked her legs and within a few moments, broke free of the surface of the lake. Coughing up liquid from her lungs, she swam over to an island, catching her breath as she lay against the soft grass.
“Where... Where is everyone?” Wet reddish-brown hair fell over her eyes, and she pushed the bangs aside, forcing herself to stand on wobbling legs. She was a Turk, she couldn't allow herself to fall over easily, though her whole body was weak. A heavy confusion on her face, she looked around the area, surprised to see pure white trees and an odd, near cone-like cone glowing white in the center of the island. She had no recollection of this place.
“I thought...” A soft murmur to herself, her eyes closed in thought, straining to remember. Chasing after Zack, trying to convince him to go, and letting him leave, for once fully disobeying orders... She felt some tears prick at her eyes before she opened them, staring up at the night sky. The news had come, the last thing she remembered, that Zack had been killed by the military unit, a number of Grunts having killed him. She remembered... It was the first time in a very long time that she had shut herself away from the rest of the Turks, crying for a full night as she recalled the goofy spiky-haired man. Though, from then she couldn't remember, everything was dark. A vague feeling of pain in her neck, the world falling away, and then waking up under the water as if drowned.
“My memory must have been altered... Though that voice, was it Hojo...?” She looked to the side, a small blink as she found her Rekka dug into the ground a few feet away from her, polished and nearly seeming to be new. A slight weak wobble, she walked over and crouched, picking it up from the dirt and looking to a note that had been skewered through the center. Pulling it from the sharp blade, she glanced over it, a surprised blink at the words.
There was no name under, she didn't know who wrote it. Though she looked to her Shuriken, a bit of a smile as she tossed it into the air, a light spin to the quad blades before catching it again, standing and focusing on strengthening her body.
“Whoever it is, I guess I need to find out, and thank them. And maybe... Just maybe, I can find Reno and the others. He is kind of hopeless without me, after all!” She smiled more, a bit of a laugh there as she calmly tucked the note into her pocket, heading through a path in the White Woods, the Forgotten City to those who are still alive now. Flicking her wet hair back from her shoulder, she looked to her Rekka, holding one of the blades to her forehead with a smile, she grinned slightly as she remembered another's words. Something about never giving up honor, a mental image of Zack Fair doing the same as he spoke to a line of Grunts.
“I never will, Zack... I'm sorry, and thank you.” Tears were not in her eyes any longer, her body flowed with energy, renewed strength as she smiled ahead. Even with all of the harshness in the road ahead, she was never going to give up her honor for the Turks, and what the SOLDIER's once stood for.

You are given new life, a chance to repay the Planet. Some creatures have been appearing around the area, it is your Mission to figure out where they come from, what caused them to come here, and meet up with the others.
